In Jervis Systems, we send out notifications to you as the property manager for several different functions in Jervis.
You can edit the settings at any time to control which notifications you receive.
- To set this up, navigate to the Notification Settings page from your main taskbar and select the Operations menu to edit the settings for each listing.

- From here, you can toggle any setting on or off. The following is our default setings for notifications.

- If you have multiple listings, you can also select the Bulk Update option.

These notifications are only visible to you as the property manager. These notifications are NOT sent to or seen by guests.
What Does Each Notification Do?
- PMS Connection Error: This lets you know if there’s an issue with the connection between Jervis Systems and your property management system.
- Device Integration Error: This notifies you that a device vendor is having issues connecting with Jervis Systems.
- Door Code Add Error: This notifies you in the event that a door code is not added to a reservation for a guest. By default, this is sent out one day before check in (at 10 AM Eastern Time and the day of check in at 10 AM Eastern Time) if Jervis runs into issues adding the door code. In this instance, Jervis will continue to attempt to add the code.
- Thermostat Temperature Set Error: This notification means that the temperature settings configured for Guest Mode, Vacant Mode, and Guardrails could not be set by the system.
- Temperature Set Outside of Guardrails Settings: This alerts you to the fact that the temperature was set outside of the Guardrails temperature settings. If this happens, our system will correct this, so the temperature is situated in your preferred settings.
- Door Code Set Not Phone # Based: This notifies you that the door code is a randomized PIN code, rather than the last four digits of a guest’s phone number.
- Low Battery Notifications: By default, this notification is sent when the battery drops to 30% or lower.
