How to Connect to Wyze in Jervis Systems
This guide will walk you through how to connect your Wyze account and set up your Wyze smart locks for keyless guest access.
- From your Jervis Systems account, select the Devices tab and select the option under the Import Devices drop-down list to connect to Wyze.
- You will be prompted to enter your email and password associated with your Wyze account, along with an ID and API key.
- Navigate to the portal here, and click Login to sign in to your Wyze account.
Note: Ensure that the login info you are using matches the info you use when logging into the Wyze app.
- Once you’ve signed in, you’ll be automatically redirected back to the developer page.
- Click Create an API key for your API key to be created.
- Once created, you can click view to see the entire key. (You should receive an email that a new API key has been generated.)
Note: Only one API key can be created per user at one time. If you want to create a new API key, you will need to delete the existing one and create a new one. To delete an API key, you can select the Delete button next to your API key.
The API is also only valid for 1 year from the date of creation, before a new key will need to be created.
- Copy the key ID and the API key and paste them into the provided field in Jervis. Be sure all fields are filled out, then select the Submit button.
- Once your Wyze account is connected, you can select the Refresh button on your devices page to show your imported devices. Then, select the drop-down list under the Assigned Listings column to assign the device(s) to a listing. Be sure devices are assigned to the correct listing. After assigning your device, the status will show as enabled.
- Going forward, if you are looking to import newly added Wyze devices, do not re-import the vendor. Use the Refresh Devices option at the top of the Devices page.
- From your reservations tab, select the Refresh reservations button. Once your reservations are imported or refreshed, you should see your randomly generated PIN code under the SET PIN field.
That’s it! Now, your Wyze devices are mapped to your their respective listings and keyless access is set up for your guests.
