How to Connect Your Jervis Systems® Account to iGMS
With the Jervis Systems®-iGMS integration, you can import your property listings and reservation details and automate property access via SET PIN codes for guests, cleaning companies, and maintenance personnel.
Here’s how to connect your iGMS account to Jervis Systems®:
Log into your Jervis Systems® account. (Create your Jervis Systems® account here if you haven’t already. For more help on signing up, see our help guide here.)
Navigate to the “Marketplace” page in your Jervis Systems dashboard and select the option to connect to iGMS.
Be sure to sign in with your iGMS account credentials.
Click ‘Allow’ to authorize Jervis Systems to connect your iGMS account.
Next, go to the Properties page within your Jervis Systems account and click “Refresh Properties”. When the page has been reloaded, you will see all of your imported properties. Select the three dots to the right of each listing to view and edit your property details.
From here, you have the option to edit your properties to add an offset capability that allows Jervis Systems to configure automated keyless access for early check-in and late check-out. If you have the same offset capabilities across all properties, you can use the bulk offset tool to apply these settings across your entire portfolio.
The next steps will walk you through setting up automated access between Jervis Systems and iGMS for your imported reservations.
Note: We store the pin code generated with each reservation on iGMS. You can use the {{door_access_code}} variable in your iGMS messaging.
To set this up, go to the Devices page and connect to your smart locks and devices by selecting the “Import Devices” button. From there, select your smart lock or device system provider and follow the prompts to connect your smart lock account.
Once your devices are imported successfully, you will want to assign your devices to your imported iGMS properties. You can do this by selecting the drop-down list for the device you want to assign and checking the boxes for the properties you want it to be assigned to. After assigning your device, the status will show as enabled.
Now, it’s time to import reservations. Head over to the reservations page and select the “Refresh” button. Once your reservations are imported, you should see your PIN code under the SET PIN field.
You can confirm the setup of the SET Pin Code in your iGMS account by navigating to your “Inbox” in your iGMS account. With every reservation, iGMS will communicate the reservation details to your guest, including a field sharing the PIN code to access the property.
Success! You now have your Jervis Systems and iGMS accounts connected, your SET PIN is created, and your access instructions are set up for your guests.
